Hi! I’m Addy, owner of Blooms and Brews! 6 years ago, I started my small flower business, “Florals by Addy,”. I was only 15 years old but I vividly remember my Dad driving me around town to collect flowers for all of the arrangements I had promised my friends for Homecomings and Proms. What originally started as a few trips to grocery store flower isles, turned into treks to wholesalers in Atlanta and beyond. I went from watching youtube videos and reading “Flower Arranging for Dummies” books, to interning at my local flower shop and attending out of state flower arranging workshops. I was eager to learn and expand my knowledge of flowers, business, and design. Moving from home to Georgia Southern University to study Interior Design had me worried that I would lose my touch. However, that wasn’t the case at all. I went from making solely arrangements for highschool dances, to making arrangements for college sorority formals, Valentine’s Day deliveries, and the occasional “I miss you, hope college is treating you well! Love, Mom,” bud vases. Now here I am at 21 years old with the same dreams I had at 15.

I am graduating in May and more than ready to expand my skills and continue working towards my goals. I am excited and proud to announce that Florals by Addy is turning into Blooms and Brews, a mobile flower delivery, event planning, and coffee creating business. I will be providing weekday local flower delivery services back in my hometown of Flowery Branch, GA. I will be booking myself for local festivals and markets soon that I can’t wait to announce! On top of making freshly brewed coffee and freshly picked floral arrangements, my mobile shop will also be available for rent for weddings, parties, and events. I will continue taking clients for wedding flowers, event design consulting, and more! This dream wouldn’t be made possible without the support of my family, my friends, and my community. Thank you to all that have been with me since the beginning, that have encouraged me along the way, and that have helped my dreams BLOOM daily! … and Dad, I may still need you to help me drive around collecting more flowers for this…

OUR MISSION
At Blooms and Brews, our coffee beans and blooms are ethically sourced in an active pursuit to put an end to human trafficking.
Our beans are roasted locally by Royalty Premium Coffee in Cumming, GA. They source their beans from small family owned farms abroad. Their beans are NOT chemically processed, but instead water processed. All beans are certified USDA organic.
As for our Blooms, we strive to use only the freshest locally grown and chemical-free cut flowers. We partner with Mayesh Wholesale in Atlanta which provides us with the best variety of fresh cut flowers, while also being transparent about where our flowers abroad come from. We also strive daily to use more biodegradable, compostable, and reusable materials in our floral designs.
Altogether, here at Blooms & Brews we are on an endless quest to give back to the earth what it so graciously gave us.
